World Class is a description that has been applied to the twin island nation of Trinidad & Tobago with a frequency that is quite unprecedented for such a small country. The performance of the country's soccer team, SOCA WARRIORS at the 2006 Football World Cup in Germany is just the latest example.
Our research has identified more than 100 individuals who have achieved world-class status. Yet this has not been documented between the covers of any one book, although it has been the theme of many calypsos.
At last that book has arrived!!!
"World Class Trinidad & Tobago: An Area of Abundance - Profiles of Performance" records individual achievements, as well as the country's biodiversity, industrial development, and cultural achievements (steelpan, carnival, calypso, limbo) against the backdrop of its history and geography.

Virtually an Encyclopedia of Trinidad & Tobago, this book is the ideal vehicle for presenting our achievements to our young and not so young - particularly those who may be out of touch because they live abroad.
Apart from its value as an impressive gift for family, friends, key clients and investors, World Class Trinidad & Tobago, an attractive full-colour book measuring 11 inches by 8.5 inches, is a collector's item and a welcome addition to any library.
